Collins is responsible for the efficient implementation of portfolio decisions relating to asset allocation, manager selection and fund restructures across the almost $11 billion in member assets overseen within the profit-for-member fund. Prior to joining Mine, Collins was a senior relationship manager for J.P. Morgan Investor Services for 10 years and a specialist within the Australian superannuation segment. He has been the Australian representative on the firm’s global pension segment group and a spokesperson on the superannuation industry for the firm. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2005, he spent 16 years at the Australian Securities Exchange, developing equity market structures and market data services. He was the exchange’s representative on Australian financial data standards and the Australian representative for the Association of National Numbering Agencies. Collins has more than 27 years of experience in financial markets, most recently in relation to the profit-for-member superannuation segment, where he is now employed. He has worked closely with some of Australia’s leading superannuation funds. Collins has an extensive background in superannuation, investment administration, markets, equities research, market structure strategy and development and financial data management.
